£50million is a lot of money that could benefit Aberdeen tremendously.
You could reopen health centres and youth groups, regenerate Castlegate and Union Street.
Even donate it to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to enable them to purchase new equipment.
Or you could completely ignore your society's needs and plan a self indulgent monstrosity of a construction that will severely damage your local economy, ruin any chance of a vibrant and culturally bright future while at the same time destroying a well loved, historically listed garden.
